This Financial Services Guide (FSG) is provided by Amie Baker, trading as Rekab Advice, an Authorised Representative of LFG Financial Services Limited. It is designed to help you decide whether to use the financial services we offer and to ensure you have the information you need to make an informed decision.
Please note: This FSG should be read together with the Financial Services Guide issued by our licensee, LFG Financial Services Limited (AFSL No. 227096). Where there is any inconsistency, the licensee’s FSG prevails.
Financial Services Guide
Who will be providing my financial services?
Your financial services are provided by Amie Baker, who operates under the trading name Rekab Advice. Amie is an Authorised Representative of, and provides financial services on behalf of, LFG Financial Services Limited.
LFG Financial Services Limited holds an Australian Financial Services Licence and is responsible for the financial services that Amie Baker provides to you. The licensee has authorised the distribution of this FSG.
What documents might I receive?
When we provide personal financial advice, you may receive the following documents:
- Statement of Advice (SoA) — set out the first time we give you personal advice. It explains our advice, the basis on which it is given, and information about fees and any relevant associations or interests that may have influenced the advice.
- Record of Advice (RoA) — may be provided instead of an SoA for further advice where your circumstances have not significantly changed. You may request a copy of any RoA at any time.
- Product Disclosure Statement (PDS) — provided if we recommend a particular financial product, so you can make an informed decision about that product.
What financial services and products can we provide?
Under the authority granted by our licensee, we are authorised to provide financial product advice and dealing services across the following areas:
- Strategic financial planning and wealth-building strategies
- Superannuation, including self-managed superannuation funds (SMSFs)
- Retirement planning and income streams
- Investment strategy and portfolio construction (managed funds and securities)
- Personal risk insurance (life, total & permanent disability, trauma and income protection)

Scope note: The exact list of products and services Amie Baker is authorised to advise on is set by LFG Financial Services Limited.
How can I provide instructions?
You may give us instructions in person, by telephone, by email to amie@rekabadvice.com.au, or in writing. In some cases we may require your instructions in writing before acting on them.
How are we paid for the services we provide?
Before we provide advice, we will agree the fees with you and explain how they are calculated. All fees are payable to LFG Financial Services Limited, which then distributes the relevant amounts to Rekab Advice. Depending on the nature of the engagement, our fees may include:
- Initial advice fee — a fee for the preparation and presentation of your Statement of Advice. This is quoted before any work begins and confirmed in writing.
- Implementation fee — a fee for putting your agreed advice into effect.
- Ongoing advice fee — where you enter into an ongoing service arrangement, an agreed fee for reviews and continuing advice, disclosed in your annual Fee Disclosure Statement and consent.
The specific dollar amounts or percentages that apply to you will always be disclosed in your Statement of Advice and agreed before any charge is incurred.
Will anyone be paid for referring me?
If we pay or receive a referral fee or benefit in connection with your engagement, we will disclose the source and an estimate of the amount in your Statement of Advice.
What associations or relationships do we have?
Rekab Advice (Rekab Enterprises Pty Ltd) is a Corporate Authorised Representative of LFG Financial Services Limited. Any other relationships or associations that could reasonably influence the advice we provide will be disclosed to you in your Statement of Advice.
Professional indemnity insurance
LFG Financial Services Limited holds professional indemnity insurance that satisfies the requirements of section 912B of the Corporations Act 2001. Subject to its terms, this insurance covers claims arising from the conduct of representatives who no longer act for the licensee but who did so at the time of the relevant conduct.
