Amie Baker
Amie is a multi-award-winning financial planner, Certified Behavioural Finance Professional and Chartered Retirement Planning Counsellor. With a career in finance spanning over 20 years — beginning at St George Bank in 2004 — she founded Rekab Advice to deliver sophisticated, personalised advice to professionals, business owners and affluent families.
In 2023, Amie became the first and only woman ever to win the IFA Investment Adviser of the Year award. In 2024 she won again — this time taking out both the IFA Client Outcome of the Year and the IFA Individual Excellence Award. She is one of the most decorated financial advisers in Australia. As National Chair of Inspire at the Financial Advice Association Australia, she is a leading advocate for women in the advice profession.
Amie's approach combines deep technical expertise in superannuation, tax, estate planning and investment strategy with a genuine understanding of behavioural finance — how values, emotions and life circumstances shape the financial decisions we make.

Brett Baker
Brett has over 25 years of experience in financial markets, with four degrees culminating in an MBA from Macquarie University. He has worked across both buy-side and sell-side in senior roles in Australia and London.
Brett built the largest wholesale broking business in Australia in the early 2000s for Salomon Smith Barney and was Head of Institutional Sales at UBS through the GFC, responsible for the management of $20 billion in client assets.
He works alongside Amie on portfolio construction and investment research, ensuring client investment objectives are met with rigour and discipline.
