Kate is the co-founder and Director of Multiforte Financial Services. With more than 25 years’ experience in financial services in investment, superannuation and financial advice, she knows the industry from the ‘inside out’ and has seen significant change.
In addition to running Multiforte and advising clients, Kate is Chair of the FINSIA NSW Council and a member of the AFA Code of Ethics Committee. Kate is also a regular speaker and contributes to the financial media, including the Australian Financial Review and most recently to the ABC Radio podcast, The Pineapple Project.
Kate holds post-graduate qualifications in Commerce, Applied Finance & Investment, and Financial Planning. Kate is a podcast fan, an avid reader, and supporter of the Sydney Swans. She enjoys walking, yoga and skiing and is learning Japanese.
Kate was awarded the AFA Female Excellence in Advice Award in 2014 for professional excellence and leadership in the financial advice profession.
Melissa is a Sales Effectiveness and Coaching Manager at MLC Life Insurance, and is responsible for the development and delivery of the national capability program and the implementation of ongoing training, education and coaching of the national sales team. Melissa brings more than 20 years of industry experience and insight to her role, having worked across all stages of the insurance value chain. She is an advocate for smarter more informed decision making around life insurance and is passionate about helping people understand their needs. Melissa’s dedication has been recognised by her industry peers having been voted a finalist in Money Management Women in Financial Services, and nominated twice in Financial Standard’s Top 50 Most Influential Social Media Users. In her “spare time”; she is the mother of three boys, lives vicariously through her husband’s Gen X & Y FP business and is in the midst of a large home renovation.
Annick has over 25 years’ experience in financial services spanning governance, strategy, distribution, business and practice development, and licensee services and operations management. Annick is passionate about financial planning, as she believes great advice changes lives. This led her to join Madison as Chief Executive in 2017, a company that holds similar ethos and values to her own. She has an active voice in the financial services industry and trade media, and is often invited to speak to share her experience and expertise across a number of issues. She has discussed the merits of strong leadership in financial services via blogs and media articles, she was awarded a place in the FS Power 50 in 2014 for her contribution to the industry across digital channels. Her predilection & curiosity for innovation, supporting small business & empowering consumers has led her to consult to a number of Fintech and RegTech companies. Representing Madison & PHAROS as a Founding member of the RegTech Association, Annick was invited to speak at the launch in 2017. Aligning with her strong belief in contribution to community, she mentors many new and emerging entrants to financial services, has held advisory and director roles with not for profit organisations, and also sits on the advisory board of Professional Planner.
